Repeat Prescriptions

Repeat Prescriptions can be ordered in the following way:

• Order via our Online Services
• Please tick required items on your computerised repeat slip and leave in the prescription box, on the wall in reception. 
  
• If you do not have a repeat prescription slip, please complete the appropriate form available from the reception desk. 
  
• Send in a stamped addressed envelope and we will send the scripts by return. Please enclose your compterised repeat slip. Please allow 7 days for delivery.
  
• Fax details of your request to 01234 741375

Some Chemists will deliver to your home. Please give two working days notice when  requesting repeat prescriptions.

Prescription Charges

The current charge for each item issued is £7.20.

Some people are entitled to free prescriptions. Examples include:

• if you are pregnant
• aged under 16 or 60 or over
  
• medical exemption

Check NHS form HC11 for full details, copies are also available from the Pharmacy.

If you have to pay for prescriptions and need more than 5 items in 4 months or 14 in 12 months you could save money by buying a Pre-payment Certificate, download the application form FP95, copies are also available from the Dispensary.
